Life With 3 Under 19 Months Old

Life for the past 4 weeks has become increasingly interesting to say the least!  Recovering and getting into the new routine of having three under 19 months has been a bit of an adjustment.  At the same time it is unbelievable that Wills is already a month old!

So how are we all doing is the common question we get these days.  All three kids are growing leaps and bounds.  Wills as of 3 weeks old had gained 2 lbs. since leaving the hospital.  As an exclusively breastfeeding mother there is nothing more encouraging than knowing your baby and you are doing something right since he's growing and flourishing!

He is becoming more and more alert each day to what's around him.  He is a pretty content baby as long as he is fed.  He does have his witching hour usually 5-8pm where he just wants to nurse otherwise he's grumpy but we find a nice walk or keeping busy during that time keeps us sane!

Baby E in the past month has mastered the art of going from crawling to sitting position all on her own!

She is still rocking on all 4's and has done one forward crawl set but her main mode of transportation is still her army crawl.

She has the army crawl mastered and is all over the place and even finding herself in funny predicaments sometimes!  The past month has been an explosion for her developmentally.  She is loud and is commonly babbling "baba" "dada" or "mama".

Our baby E is now up to 20 lbs. 7 oz. just shy of 7 months old, she is far from the barely 5 lb. baby dropped off at our house back in September!  We are really enjoying watching her hit developmental milestones and become so interactive.

N has also hit a big developmental growth this past month too.  The photo above was taken this weekend before we left for Wills baptism.  We had friends staying at our house and everyone was getting ready to leave when he decided to get ready to leave too!  We purposely didn't want to dress N until right before we left so he wouldn't ruin his outfit but he decided to proudly ditch the clothes and put his boots on himself even if they are on the wrong feet :)

He is starting to mimic words more and more.  We have been pushing him to use his words instead of letting him point and whine which I think has contributed to him using words more often on his own now.  He comprehends everything said to him, we are just working on getting him to vocalize with words which will cut down on his frustration level at times not being able to communicate his wishes.

He has really settled into his big brother position.  He can often be found now trying to play with baby E as she is more mobile.  He will come over and try to take Wills out of our arms so he can hold him.  It's adorable to watch him interact with the two in his own special way and just warms this mama's heart!
