The Land, Swimming, Park, Zoo, and a Tooth!

For most of the week post Easter we went out to the land which is the name we have come to use for our family cabin.  It's been considered the land since when it was first purchased it was only just that....land.  The name was picked up and though the cabin is now near completion it has still stuck around.

It was so nice out we even spent time in shorts and some of us in onsies!  Sitting out on the front porch overlooking the pond with the warm weather was so refreshing and so needed.  It was nice to be able to sit back and relax and do nothing (ok beyond breastfeeding which seems to be a constant!).  Notice Baby E has no decided to go from sitting to being on her knees to standing up.  She's only ever pulled herself up to a full standing position once and then of course proceeded to take a terrible tumble right thereafter, however this little one is so close to coasting!

Of course it wouldn't be a cabin trip if there wasn't the getting dirty part of the experience!

We also took a trip to visit with some baby goats and there mama's.  Mary was repeatedly being nommed on by creatures other than Baby E for once!

Always lots of time for cuddles

One of the days we drove to an indoor waterpark and met up with Quinn who's attending college not far from there.

Of course the kids swam like fish

With all the swimming they all passed out!

The lazy river got the best of N, Brian brought him back to our table area completely passed out.  They were coasting on the lazy river on a tube and he proceeded to pass out.

Thank goodness for comfy reclined strollers that make great make-shift beds.

Wills of course did the most sleeping of them all.

After the week we came home and the pups were relieved and happy to finally be back on furniture since they are forbidden to grace the couches at the land :)

Saturday we intended on going to the zoo with Mary and Quinn but after sitting in traffic just a few miles from the zoo we came to find it was Founders Day therefore it was free admission to everyone.  That explained why the parking was full and police were directing traffic to continue on and most people were parking miles away and walking.  Since we have a zoo pass we decided to ditch the idea and head back home and go to a local park to play instead.  N and Mary played on the playground area for awhile, but the most fun was running up and rolling down the hill.  N also was amused with the trains that pass every few minutes, he has become a real train fan!

Baby E met grass for the first time.  She was unsure about it but inquisitive and within minutes was ripping it out and trying to eat it!  Who needs to mow the grass this year when Baby E will happily munch on it for us?!?!  It'll be a win-win for all of us!

We also had our first full family Zoo experience.

The triple stroller came into great use and made life so much easier for us!

Wills was all bundled up and reclined as he slept almost the entire time.

Even Aunt Mary joined us.

It was a successful trip and we can honestly say we look forward to more visits as the weather keeps getting nicer.

We also had other developments specifically with baby E.  The morning of our zoo trip she woke up and started suddenly crawling in proper crawling formation.  Her army crawling completely disappeared and she raced around as if she had always been doing it.  She also had something emerge this past Monday.....

Yup there it is!  Her first tooth poked through at 7 months old!  On Wednesday she pulled herself up to standing on the coffee table all by herself and has been trying to scale anything in sight since.  This girl is unstoppable!
