The days seem to be flying by and the weekends even faster! Just as a weekend comes it feels like it is over. We spent the weekend at the land and went to the local county fair. We intended on bidding on a yearling cow this year that would be ready for slaughter next year however there weren't any great deals to be had. We are now exploring other options of possibly getting a yearling through a breeder instead.
Playing the cup game
Mary and GT did a Lowes kids project
Of course hammering the make-shift table was just as fun!
They both loved making their planes!
Fair time
Rides everywhere
I was tempted to send this picture to my brother and sister-in-law jokingly to let them know GT really enjoyed this ride but decided not to give them a heart attack :) Brian and Mary are if you look at the top center opening directly to the left Mary in pink and Brian in black.
There was some kite flying.
Also lots and lots of pets for "Meehoo" and "Ucker" (Meeko and Tucker) and "Mowwy" and "Ufer" (Molly and Gunther) from GT.
Another long weekend that we came home tired from....of course both pups were passed out within 5 minutes of us leaving! (Also noticed Tucker's new characteristic of a bent tail near the tip. Looks like he broke his tail at some point. The vet said tails are like people toes you really can't do much for them but just let them heal. We don't know when or how it happened but looking at pictures after the shed incident we notice the crook is there so it must have happened then or right before. Of course he isn't bothered one bit by his crooked tail, guess it will be his new look!)
