Chirp Chirp, Chirp Chirp

Yup that is all that you hear lately here on my blog.  To say we've been busy is an understatement.  To say I've been lazy updating is yet another understatement!  So here goes a random train of thought update of sorts from the past few weeks:

The roses are starting to bloom and summer is in full swing.  How did the summer come so quickly upon us?  Where did Spring go?  Wasn't it just snowing?  It's amazing how quickly time seems to be flying by however I'm trying my darn hardest to slow it down and cherish the little fleeting moments!

Baby E is on the move.  She pulls herself up on everything and is constantly looking for something to use as a walker and walk.  Here she is demonstrating her endless interest in her favorite toy....yup that would be her brother William!

She's starting to let go of things and just stand in place and has tried to take a step or two before she tumbles down.  I'm thinking give her a few more weeks and we have another Speedy Gonzales on our hands!

Of which William as of Monday at 3 months old is 15 lbs. 13 oz. so quickly catching up to Baby E.  The two being exactly 6 months minus one day apart plus Baby E starting to be more active so starting to slim down he is going to catch her quickly!

N is now 22 months old and giving us all a run for our money.  He's super spunky and determined...if only we could redirect some of that determination in the right direction that'd be great!  His speech is starting to come along and he has learned a few more words.  Still we can count on our hands how many words he says but I know it's only a matter of time before we won't be able to stop the little chatter box.  Oh also as you can see in the picture, he is getting his 2 year old molars and chomping on everything in sight!

We took our first full family trip down to visit Brian’s mom and brother.  Oh yes we tried getting a full family selfie which included part of Meeko's behind.  Didn't work out too well for us but there's always next time.

William got to see the great grandparents for the 2nd time and Pap even got him to pass out sleeping during his usual witching hour(s).

He was mesmerized by great grandma!

We have also mastered the selfie-sleeping babies picture,

The kids have been swimming away.  Both are crazy water babies which makes for a great activity to tire them out before bed.  This has become our favorite sleep-inducing weapon!

This guy just nurses in order to pass out like the rest...always with a smile on his face!

Yup always smiling!

The kids also had their first bounce house experience at Mimsy and grandpa's with their cousin GT.  It was somewhat successful but neither truly got the concept.

Per Wills' request we obliged and took a selfie with him before he was off to sleep in his co-sleeper bassinet (which I so wish we would have had with Baby E!)

Many walks have been taken.  This is this mama's other weapon of choice to control the chaos.  Several afternoons a week I aimlessly stroll around with three kiddo's strapped in and I can pretend I have some control over our three gremlins....only when contained of course :)

Wills has been enjoying his tummy time.  Unfortunately because of said sister that believes he is the best chew toy since sliced bread (which she also enjoys) his floor time is done during the elders morning or afternoon naps or once they are down for the night.  He continues to turn over like a champ, one of the few babies who came out of the womb and literally turned over on his first night with us.  He has mad strength this little fella....all the better to prepare him to duke it out with his older brother and sister!

Exhibit A on why he needs those strong muscles....

Also that comes with being 3 months old is longer periods of being awake and aware of everything.  I have him very close to the other kiddos napping schedule so probably give him another month or two and I can celebrate when all three are on synchronized napping schedules!

N has really been digging my garbage picked kids kitchen.  It is the exact same one I grew up with in perfect condition.  It was on the side of the road and I knew it would just be perfect.  He enjoys having his breakfast and dinner sitting like a big boy at his own table.  Of course Baby E who we've lovingly nicknamed E*zilla (* second letter of her name) is the perfect standing height to attack so it has become a little harder to keep her from trying to steal his meals.

Her own sippy and a bowl of cherrio's typically keeps her preoccupied.  She isn't fond of eating out of a bowl per say yet but I take it as a motivating factor to stay on top of sweeping or consider it an easy treat for the pups!

In the past few weeks we've taken a trip or two out to the land too and enjoyed some nights around the fire.

One of our biggest accomplishments was taking our first  family camping trip to a local state park.  Three kids, us, our friend Lindsey, and our two dogs!  Believe it or not we had some room to spare in the camper too.

N even blew his first bubbles on his own!

It was a perfect weekend and the perfect camping trip for a perfect Father's Day! (beyond a few store runs for items forgotten or that were baked...just don't ask)

Life with the three has been busy but it's a good busy.  The days sometimes seem long but the weeks and months are flying by!  The month of August coming up will hopefully be an important month for our two foster kiddo's.  Prayers on their behalf and for the court system are very much appreciated!   We pray their best interest as always will be upheld and that permanency will be in the forefront of the county and judges minds.

Will leave you all with one last photo which of course has to involved one of our whippet pups.  Wouldn't be an update blog post without an update on them!  Meeko and Tucker are enjoying the littles and the nice weather.  They choose to spend most of their days sunbathing in the fenced in backyard and come in typically in the late afternoon when it typically gets super hot.  Even with three kids all over the place taking our time and attention our two fellow's continue to be the most loving (ok a bit overly affectionate for some) pups and we couldn't imagine our family without them!

The Land, Swimming, Park, Zoo, and a Tooth!

For most of the week post Easter we went out to the land which is the name we have come to use for our family cabin.  It's been considered the land since when it was first purchased it was only just that....land.  The name was picked up and though the cabin is now near completion it has still stuck around.

It was so nice out we even spent time in shorts and some of us in onsies!  Sitting out on the front porch overlooking the pond with the warm weather was so refreshing and so needed.  It was nice to be able to sit back and relax and do nothing (ok beyond breastfeeding which seems to be a constant!).  Notice Baby E has no decided to go from sitting to being on her knees to standing up.  She's only ever pulled herself up to a full standing position once and then of course proceeded to take a terrible tumble right thereafter, however this little one is so close to coasting!

Of course it wouldn't be a cabin trip if there wasn't the getting dirty part of the experience!

We also took a trip to visit with some baby goats and there mama's.  Mary was repeatedly being nommed on by creatures other than Baby E for once!

Always lots of time for cuddles

One of the days we drove to an indoor waterpark and met up with Quinn who's attending college not far from there.

Of course the kids swam like fish

With all the swimming they all passed out!

The lazy river got the best of N, Brian brought him back to our table area completely passed out.  They were coasting on the lazy river on a tube and he proceeded to pass out.

Thank goodness for comfy reclined strollers that make great make-shift beds.

Wills of course did the most sleeping of them all.

After the week we came home and the pups were relieved and happy to finally be back on furniture since they are forbidden to grace the couches at the land :)

Saturday we intended on going to the zoo with Mary and Quinn but after sitting in traffic just a few miles from the zoo we came to find it was Founders Day therefore it was free admission to everyone.  That explained why the parking was full and police were directing traffic to continue on and most people were parking miles away and walking.  Since we have a zoo pass we decided to ditch the idea and head back home and go to a local park to play instead.  N and Mary played on the playground area for awhile, but the most fun was running up and rolling down the hill.  N also was amused with the trains that pass every few minutes, he has become a real train fan!

Baby E met grass for the first time.  She was unsure about it but inquisitive and within minutes was ripping it out and trying to eat it!  Who needs to mow the grass this year when Baby E will happily munch on it for us?!?!  It'll be a win-win for all of us!

We also had our first full family Zoo experience.

The triple stroller came into great use and made life so much easier for us!

Wills was all bundled up and reclined as he slept almost the entire time.

Even Aunt Mary joined us.

It was a successful trip and we can honestly say we look forward to more visits as the weather keeps getting nicer.

We also had other developments specifically with baby E.  The morning of our zoo trip she woke up and started suddenly crawling in proper crawling formation.  Her army crawling completely disappeared and she raced around as if she had always been doing it.  She also had something emerge this past Monday.....

Yup there it is!  Her first tooth poked through at 7 months old!  On Wednesday she pulled herself up to standing on the coffee table all by herself and has been trying to scale anything in sight since.  This girl is unstoppable!
