Spring is Coming!

This whole cold weather bit can end already please!  With some 50's-60's expected for the upcoming week it seems promising that we will be out of this cold spell and Spring will truly start.  It has been such a tease to look outside lately and see so much bright sunshine yet once you get out there it is only in the 40's or even colder!  So in honor of the soon approaching true spring, here is what we are looking forward to:

• Warm weather obviously and sunshine, sunshine, and more sunshine!
• Vitamin D overload
• With Spring also comes rainy days, love me rainy days, thunderstorms, and rainbow searching!
• Walking our dogs without having to bundle up ourselves and them!
• No need for a coat, sorry winter coat into the closet you happily go!
• The return of color all around us
• More flowers emerging and blooming, who can be unhappy with beautiful flowers everywhere?
• Smelling flowers
• Perhaps opening our home to our first child(ren) to liven up our home :) 
• Opening up our backdoor and letting the dogs run and hang out outside all day instead of running through the house!
• Staining our fence
• One word, "hammock!"
• Taking our patio furniture out of its winter hibernation and actually being able to use it
• Brian grilling
• Picnics and eating outside on our patio
• Planting our straw bale garden!
• flippy-floppys
• sundresses/skirts
• Kayaking
• ice cream (heck who am I kidding, we have that year round!)
• flea markets and garage sales!
• Camping :)
• Back to mowing the lawn which is my favorite homeowner duty!  Is that weird?  Who cares I find it rather mediating and soothing and definitely brings immediate satisfaction.
• The smell of freshly cut grass throughout the neighborhood, yes perhaps I am too obsessed with lawn mowing and its smells!
• Tweeting birds outside the window and visiting our bird feeders in the backyard
• Mulching (tedious but again immediate satisfaction)
• Turning off the heat and opening the windows for fresh air!
• The energy to do spring cleaning and be more active
• Butterflies
• Mother's Day
• Gentle breezes
• Drive-in movies
• Fishing
• Biking
• More frequent trips to the zoo with our zoo membership!
• Fresh fruit and veggies
• Walking the Lake Erie beach
• Sitting on our front porch with a cold drink

Oh Spring can't come soon enough!
